Peace message of Islam should reach every corner of world: Qazi Hussein Ahmed
DARGAI: President of MMA and Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Qazi Hussein Ahmed Tuesday said that Islam is a religion of peace, justice and humanity and this is the sole responsibility of the religious scholars and clerics to spread this religion throughout the world.
He was addressing a reference here in the memory of MNA Maulana Inayiat Ullah (late) at Jamia Rehmania Dargai. “Death is a reality but those who contribute for the well being of the people used to be remembered for ever like Shaikh Al-Quran Al-Hadith Maulana Inayiat Ullah,” he said.
On the occasion elder son of late Maulana Inayiat, Majib Ur Rehman was formally declared successor of his father and administrator of the Jamia. On the occasion, Senior Provincial Minister Siraj-ul-Haq, Senator Professor Muhammad Ibrahim and MMA joint candidate of the bye-election for NA-35 Malakand, Bukhtiar Moani were also present.
Qazi hailed the efforts of late Maulana Inayiat on highlighting national and international issues as legislator in the parliament of Pakistan. Qazi also stressed upon the religious scholars and clerics in the region to support the sons of Maulana Inayiat in educating the religious students of Jamia Rehmania.
Later talking to the reporters, Qazi Hussein Ahmed said that Bukhtiar Moani is a joint candidate of MMA to contest the bye-elections of NA-35, vacated due to the death of Maulana Inayiat. “The decision of the candidate of MMA was taken in a recent meeting in Balochistan in which Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, Secretary General of MMA and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly was also present,” he said.
Maulana Inayiat was an activist of Jamaat-e-Islami and to field MMA candidate in the bye-election is right of JI, he said.
