Maulana Wasih named MMA’s parliamentary leader in Balochistan Assembly
QUETTA: : The Balochistan MMA on Saturday unanimously named Maulana Abdul Wasih as its Parliamentary Leader in the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
The announcement was made by the provincial Amir of the Jamiaul Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl), Maulana Mohammad Khan Sheerani during a crowded press conference here at his party’s office.
The MMA, he said, has secured more seats in the Provincial Assembly then other political parties. “And all MMA members elect happen to be the members of the JUI (F.) That’s why the rest of the MMA friends allowed us to name our parliamentary leader.”
Sheerani told reporters the MMA would strive to form its government Balochistan. “This is also essential because the ‘rulers’ have been through media assuring masses of return to genuine democracy and the change.”
The change the Maulana said is of three types: change of individuals, change of character and the change of groups. “Given the opportunity our government would demonstrate these changes.
