ISLAMABAD : Minorities leaders and delegations in their meeting with Federal Minister for Minorities, Col. (Retd.) S.K. Tressler have hailed the government decision to restore the joint electorate system as according to them, it would bring them in national stream.
The new system, they said, would enable them to work closely with Muslim brethren for the welfare and uplift of the country. The Minorities delegates observed that now it would be quite easy to approach their representatives for solution of their day to day problems as compared to past when they had no access to their representatives living at far flung distances.
The Minister for Minorities, Col. (Retd.) Tressler, urged them to fully participate in the referendum and the October elections and make best use of their votes.
