Now that the Northern Alliance forces, backed by the US and its allies, have pushed back the Taleban, Afghanistan is once again at the brink of anarchy. The poppy fields will be back. The law and order and absence of crime in the Taleban era will be long remembered. The vulgar Indian films and vodka will be back. Afghanistan’s sovereignty is gone and slavery under the Coalition rule has begun.
