Thank you for publishing the absorbing article by Mr. Salman Lodhy titled “Advertise! You Fools!” It is timely and should be followed-up by action. I am willing to devote all my available time and resources to make Mr. Lodhy’s ideas work. I would like to support people like Mr. Lodhy to accomplish the “image-resuscitation” goals for Pakistan and its forces.  I see in Mr. Lodhy’s heart the fire needed to ignite and unleash the forces to combat our enemies cunning and subterfuges. This process requires unemotional, pragmatic and analytical thinking rather than knee-jerk or sputtering response from some bureaucrats or our government.

Pakistan is at a critical juncture in its history: either it will disappear (due to the inertia of our people) as prognosticated by the India-U.S. think tank, or we will “subsume,” into a greater Pakistan comprising entities from a balkanized India. The fissures in the Indian Union are far greater than ours, except that we have never exploited this inherent weakness of our enemy. Let’s take the gloves off and defeat them with our pens rather than the blood of our youth.
