The Other Occupied Territory

The House resolution (passed with an overwhelming majority) that basically places 100% of the BLAME for the current Israel/Palestine crisis on the VICTIMS of that crisis, would lead any reasonable and fair person to the following conclusion. Even though it is hard to rationalize many of the things that PAT BUCHANAN says, this one sided and horribly unjust resolution gives proof to Buchanan’s assertion that Israel’s other OCCUPIED TERRITORY is none other than our own United States Congress! Our founding fathers have once again turned in their graves.

This irresponsible action of the Congress, kowtowing to the whims of a foreign country, will only make matters worse. It seems that not only our Congress but most of the media and a large portion of our misinformed public has forgotten the power of the cry “Give me liberty or give me death” that is reverberating across Palestine today. We might remind them that the very existence of our still mostly free country today, should assure us of the coming of a free Palestine tomorrow, regardless of Israeli bullets and missiles or sycophantic “resolutions” from conscience-free politicians.
