Musharraf has made an honest attempt to collect bad debt, enforce accountability, and bring home money hoarded by Benazir, her husband, and others. British and US governments have not appreciated his efforts and their response smacks of malice and double standards.

God has blessed Pakistan with everything except good leadership. The General certainly could not undo the misdeeds of the past. I admire the honorable gentleman who has bravely accepted the challenge of arresting the rot and bringing about the much-needed wholesome change. He needs time. Rome was not built in a day.
