A Clown Would Have Done Better

Nothing shocks me about Pakistan any more. It’s a pity that the country has so much to offer and yet it remains mired in mediocrity. The present leadership has been a great disappointment. PPP, earlier, was a disappointment too. So were the PML and the MQM. When the military took over I thought that a wholesome change would follow. But that was not to be. I believe a clown would have run Pakistan better. The people of Pakistan have learned a new lesson. Steal all you can and then seek release and exile.
