Trials in Shariat Courts

It is necessary to try every politician, bureaucrat, judge, and military officer accused of corruption in Sharia Courts. All proceedings should be in Urdu and shown live on the TV. The trial should not take more than a week. Those found guilty should be made to pay for their wrong doings. Benazir and Asif should be held accountable for the financial losses resulting from the Hubco agreement which has precipitated a sharp rise in electricity prices to the discomfiture of every Pakistani. Similarly, Abid and Fakhar should pay for the theft of electricity, Mushahid should pay for handing over Aamil Kansi, Sartaj Aziz should pay for the loss of overseas Pakistanis’ confidence in the policies of the Government of Pakistan which led to a marked reduction in foreign exchange remittance, and finally, Nawaz Sharif should pay for the Kargil debacle and wasting precious time in playing cricket.
