Love for All & Hatred for None

According to Islamic teachings, all human beings have been created equal and the only thing that distinguishes one individual from the other is his deeds and belief in the truth.

Islam does not accept nationalism.  But, unfortunately, nationalism is the common malaise plaguing Muslims of the world, particularly those living in the subcontinent and the Arabian countries where considerable importance is attached to one’s belonging to a particular cast, tribe, or group. This malaise has taken its toll in the four provinces of Pakistan and has left deep-rooted scars on our economic, social and political system. It was largely due to this misplaced perception of nationalism that the country suffered its tragic split in 1971.

Contrary to Islamic teachings which preach equality, justice, compassion, kindness, peace, knowledge for all, and submission to only One Creator, we have adopted Hindu customs and traditions. Islam rejects nationalism, monarchy, imperialism, egoism, hatred and aggression.

The problem with Muslims is that of lack of education. They find it difficult to comprehend fully the message of Islam. I have studied many religions and I have found that Islam provides a complete code of life and there is no other religion, which could bring real happiness, peace, equality, law and order, tranquility, and economic stability in a people’s life. Islam teaches love for all and hatred for none.
