Test results of Indian sugar submitted to LHC
LAHORE: Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) and Pakistan Standard Control Authority declared the sugar imported from India hazardous to health and submitted chemical test report of the sugar in the Lahore High Court.
The court during hearing of petitions against import of Indian sugar had asked the PCSIR and Pakistan Standard Control Authority to chemically examine the imported Indian sugar.
The report said the consumption of such sugar was injurious to health and marketing and sale of Indian sugar should not be allowed in Pakistan.
