IMF emergency session summoned to release loans

WASHINGTON: International Monetary Fund (IMF) has summoned its emergency session today (Wednesday) to release loans for countries in desperate need to avert financial crisis, said Managing Director IMF. Earlier, this session was to be held on Friday which was today summoned to make the release of loans possible for the countries facing intense financial impasse. IMF possesses funds mounting over 200 billion dollars however member countries could also be approached for further financial assistance if needed, said spokesman IMF. Liquidity way would be adopted to release loans to needy counties, he added.
