Bhutto reaches native home after 8 years
LARKANA:
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto Saturday reached her
native home in Naudero after offering Fateha at Mazar of her father
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh graveyard.
Benazir after her arrival at Sukkur Airport
from Karachi this morning leading a rally reached Garhi Khuda Bakhsh
in a bulletproof car amid tightened security.
Peoples’ Party workers and local
people in large number accorded rousing welcome to Benazir Bhutto on
her arrival in native town after eight years. The party workers including
large number of women chanted slogans for Benazir.
Stringent security arrangements were made
on Benazir Bhutto’s arrival to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
Benazir Bhutto earlier offered Fateha
at graves of her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and two brothers Murtaza
Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto. She recited holly Quran and offered Fateha
and laid floral wreaths and flowers at the graves.
There were reports that Benazir will address
a gathering but due to security reasons she could not address the public
meeting.
Talking in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Benazir
said she was repeatedly being told that her life was in danger but these
words couldn’t stay her away from the people. She said she doesn’t
scare of death.
Benazir Bhutto reached Naudero after offering
Fateha at her father’s grave.
People are present in large number at
Naudero house of Bhuttos.
PPP chairperson will stay a day
at her native residence and will possibly address a press conference.
