inquiry into 18-Oct carnage under consideration
KARACHI:
Chief Minister Sindh Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim said Wednesday the government
was considering to hold judicial inquiry into 18-Oct carnage, which
left at least 139 people dead and over 450 were injured.
He stated this while talking to newsmen
after the Sindh cabinet meeting, which was presided over by Mr. Rahim.
Important progress has been archived in
inquiry being held into the Karachi tragedy, which seems having links
with a chain in other provinces, he said.
Head of the investigation team after
Karsaz carnage DIG Manzoor Mughal has quit due to some objections raised
by PPP, he said adding that another senior official of Police will head
the new the investigation team.
