Haqqani hopeful of ‘N’ return
LAHORE: Pakistan’s ambassador at large to the US Hussain Haqqani said on Monday that he hoped the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would re-join the federal cabinet after the sacked judges were restored. Talking to Dawn News, he said the restoration of the judges and not how it was carried out, was the basic issue. “Coalitions always involve people who do not completely agree on everything,” he said, adding that if the PPP and the PML-N agreed on everything, they would be one party instead of two. He denied that the PPP had backed out from Muree Declaration, adding that the two parties agreed on restoring the judges but could not agree on how to do it. daily times monitor
