PML-N wants Rehman Malik’s suspension
ISLAMABAD: The PML-N on Tuesday demanded that Interior Adviser Rehman Malik be suspended immediately for allegedly ‘masterminding’ the postponement of the by-elections. PML-N spokesman Siddiqul Farooq said Malik had confessed to suggesting to the CEC that the by-elections be postponed. He alleged that Malik had acted on President Musharraf’s orders, and claimed that AG Malik Qayyum and NSC Secretary Tariq Aziz were also involved. Meanwhile, NWFP Senior Minister Bashir Bilour asked Asif Zardari and Khawaja Asif to seek an explanation from Malik for his actions, Online quoted a private TV channel as reporting. muhammad bilal
