By- polls delay request should be made by Frontier: Farhatullah Babar
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party spokesman Farhatullah Babar said law and order is the responsibility of provincial governments and if there was any problem of law and order in Frontier, than request for delay in bye-elections should have been made by the Frontier government. Talking to Geo News, Farhatullah Babar asked that why the central government would request for postponement of by-polls in this situation. Babar said that Rehman Malik in a statement has observed that law and order situation in Frontier was not as bad that forces postponement of the by-polls. He said that he would contact Rehman Malik and than clarify the issue. Meanwhile, advisor to interior ministry Rehman Malik has said that he would issue a detailed statement on the matter today.
