MQM leaders condole with PPP’s Shah

KARACHI: On the directions of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain a party delegation visited Dadu to condole with the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Syed Murad Ali Shah on the death of his father Syed Abdullah Shah The senior Shah was a former chief minister of Sindh during whose tenure the 1993 operation was conducted. His son Syed Murad Ali Shah is now the Sindh minister for revenue. The delegation also condoled his uncle’s death. The delegation comprised MQM Rabita Committee Pakistan joint in-charge and Sindh provincial minister for Auqaf Abdul Haseeb, members Babar Ghauri and Ashfaque Mangi, Haq Parast members of the Sindh Assembly Nisar Panhwer, Syed Waseem Hussain, Hyderabad Haq Parast district Nazim Kanwer Naveed Jamil and Dadu zone in-charge Ali Murtaza, according to a press release. In the next few days, a delegation of top MQM leaders is expected to visit Garhi Khuda Buksh, the hometown of the Bhuttos. staff report
