PEMRA transferred to information ministry
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has approved transfer of the administrative control of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) from Cabinet Division to Information & Broadcasting Division with immediate effect, says a notification issued by Cabinet Division. The prime minister has approved transfer of the administrative control of PEMRA to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting under clause iii of the rules of business 1973.
