Service delivery to be changed to suit public requirements: Shazia Marri

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Ms. Shazia Marri has said that the government is making efforts to improve the service delivery of public institutions and as per the needs of the people. This she said while speaking at the inaugural session of a seminar on 'Building a service Culture that sizzles and succeeds' at a local hotel on Saturday. The world renowned lecturer Mr. Ron Kaufman delivered lecture on the topic. Minister said that the service delivery of the public institutions and people working there is not satisfactory and revolutionary measures are needed to change the present style of working of the government offices. She said that though the working of multinational companies has brought a visible change to the public institutions but more efforts are required to improve the attitude of government managers to the people. She announced that the government by improving the law & order in the province will attract more multinational organizations for investment. 'Thus the more opportunities of employment will be available for our youth and service delivery of the public institutions will also be improved", she added. Ms. Shazia Marri while quoting the saying of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah 'scrupulous maintenance of law and order is the key to all progress" added that by improving law and order, the PPP Government will attract the investors.
