Imran challenges Zardari to contest polls against him

LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan is contesting bye-election from the constituency NA-55 of the National Assembly and he has challenged co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari to contest the election against him from this constituency. Explaining the reason behind this challenge, Imran Khan said that the elections on February 18 were contested on the issue of judiciary. He said Asif Zardari’s saying that his party’s mandate was not the restoration of the judges was wrong. He said on this occasion: ‘I challenge Asif Ali Zardari to contest against me from NA-55 for checking the people’s mandate regarding judiciary so that the fact can be revealed’.
