Cargo ship stuck up in Karachi port channel

KARACHI: A cargo ship of APL sailing from Karachi to Colombo has been stuck up in the channel near the KPT berth number 29 due to engine failure here on Wednesday. According to the sources, the cargo ship Jeddah of the APL Company proceeded last night at about 11 O’clock but due to engine failure it was stuck up in the channel. The ship is stuck up in break water at the KPT berth 29 due to which traffic has been suspended. Efforts are being made to take out the ship but no success has been made so far.
