‘We can sit together if MMA leave the
government’: Amin Fahim
ISLAMABAD:
Vice-chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Makhdoom Amin Fahim
said that MMA is in the government. First, let them separate from
the government then PPP would consider to sit with them.
Talking with Wasim Abbasi of Geo News in Islamabad,
he said that he would call on Benazir Bhutto along with Muslim League
Nawaz leader Ishaq Dar in Dubai on June 2. It would be decided about
the PPP’s participation in the all parties conference (APC)
in this meeting.
He said that Benazir refused to sit with the MMA in
the APC just because that the MMA is in the government.
He said that the PPP-Government negotiations are in
the process but they cannot be termed as an agreement or a deal.
Makhdoom Amin Fahim said that the PPP would not
tolerate any hindrance in the way of the restoration of democracy.
