Imran Khan sent back from Lahore airport
LAHORE:
Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was sent back to home from
departure lounge of the Lahore airport as he was not allowed to travel
to Karachi as per his scheduled visit because the Punjab government
has banned outgoing of Imran from Lahore premises for three days.
Talking to newsmen after he was not allowed to travel
to Karachi, Imran Khan said he was bared from going to Karachi by
the government despite of the fact that he had never violated the
law during 11-year history of his politics.
He blamed that MQM was playing its card against him.
The Punjab Home Department has issued order that Imran
Khan could not out of premises of Lahore.
However, Imran Khan condemning the government move declined
to get the copy of the order and said it was illegal and unjustified.
According to reports received till the filing of this
story, Imran Khan had left his residence for Lahore airport to depart
for the Karachi visit as per schedule.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Sindh
has also banned the entry of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman
Imran Khan into the province for one month. The Sindh Home Department
has issued a letter to this effect.
