NewsIran’s defence is stronger than the past: Governor Sistan
QUETTA: Governor Sistan and Iranian Balochistan Habibullah Dehmarday dispelled the impression of imminent US attack on Iran and made it clear that his country’s defence is stronger than the past.
He was addressing a press conference at Governor House Quetta along with Governor Balochistan Awais Ahmed Ghani.
He proposed joint Pakistan, Iran currency to speedup development process in the two Islamic countries.
He said construction of fence along Pak-Iran border is intended to regularize the bilateral trade. Sistan governor said that all bilateral problems could be settled by dialogue. He said his country is stronger in defence, social and economic fields.
Governor Balochistan Awais Ahmed Ghani talking on the occasion emphasized for closer cooperation, exchange of views and consultations between the two neighbours and developing mutual understanding.
He said the bilateral trade has registered 100 % growth within one year.
