Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi nominated for PM candidate
ISLAMABAD: The opposition nominated Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as their candidate for the premiership. Addressing a press conference here, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain announced the name of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to be the prime ministerial candidate. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said they requested MQM to sit with them on opposition benches; however, the decision lies with them. Addressing on the occasion, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said his party decided not to attend the dinner at the National Assembly in protest against the derogatory remarks by a PPP leader. Pervaiz Elahi said victory or defeat is another chapter; however, taking part in the democratic process is also service to democracy.
