Different policies including war on terror to be reviewed: Nawaz

LAHORE, Mar 22 (APP): PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that the new parliament would work as an institution having full authority and carry out legislative work as per wishes and aspirations of people of the country. Talking to newsmen at the residence of Chairman Tehrik-e-Isnaf Imran Khan here Saturday,he said “PML-N and its coalition partners have two third majority in the parliament which is good for future of democracy in the country.” He said there is complete harmony among the coalition partners regarding formation of government adding “We will come up to expectations of the masses who have given us mandate and fully implement party’s manifesto.” “Different policies including policy pertaining to war against terrorism would be reviewed”, he said. To a question, he said, it is PPP’s prerogative to nominate candidate for premiership adding that PML-N would extend full support to PPP’s decision in this regard. He said as people have given mandate in favour of democratic forces in the elections on february 18, now there is no room for undemocratic attitudes in the country. On the occasion, Imran Khan underlined the need for resolving problems facing the country by taking wise decisions by using political wisdom adding that there is no difference in the manifestos of PML-N and APDM. Earlier, Mian Nawaz Sharif condoled with Imran Khan over demise of his father and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable los with equanimity.
