Justice Nawaz Abbasi sworn in as Acting CJP

ISLAMABAD: Senior judge of Supreme Court Justice Nawaz Abbasi Saturday sworn in as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan. Supreme Court Judge Justice Syed Saeed Ashhad administered the oath to Justice Nawaz Abbasi in a ceremony in Islamabad. Justice Abbasi would be Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in absence of Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar who was on foreign trip. Supreme Court judges, Attorney General Malik Qayyum and other top officials attended the ceremony.
