Eid Milad-un-Nabi being celebrated today
ISLAMABAD: Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) is being celebrated today across the country with religious devotion and respect. Various organizations have decided to observe the great day of birth of Holy Prophet of humanity (peace be upon him) as Tahaffuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat, which is being celebrated on Friday. On the occasion, several religious and social groups are convening Milad and Na’at gatherings, processions and Seerat-un-Nabi(peace be upon) conferences. The important national ceremony of this day will be held in Islamabad; religious scholars from across the country will attend the Seerat Conference. On this occasion, awards will be given on books written in Urdu and regional languages on the topic of Seerat-un-Nabi (peace be upon him). Similarly, the ceremonies for Milad and processions have been organized in Karachi as well. The central procession will be taken out from Memon Masjid Bolton Market led by Allama Shah Turabul Haq Qadri. This procession will move on its designated route and end at Nishtar Park. Besides, many other processions appearing from different areas will end at Nishtar Park. Ulema will address the participants of these processions and cast light on the sacred life of the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and other major and minor cities. Special security arrangements have been made for the Milad day celebrations.
