30 days given to new govt for judges restoration: Aitezaz

HARIPUR: Supreme Court Bar Association President Chaudhry Aitezaz Ahsan Thursday said the upcoming government would be given 30 days to restore the deposed judges to their offices. Addressing the lawyers in Haripur, Aitezaz Ahsan said the coalition government is in the offing, after which, it would be given 30 days for the restoration of the deposed judges. Ahsan maintained, ‘Our intention is good and the new government would be given 30 days owing to the Bhorban Declaration, adding after the lapse of the deadline, the countdown will begin. SCBA president demanded the restoration of the deposed chief justice and other judges in one month, adding if the President Musharraf and Attorney General attempted any plot to delay it, then long march would be launched.
