Special team to probe Islamabad bomb blast
ISLAMABAD: Forensic experts gathered evidence from an Italian restaurant in Islamabad after a bomb attack on Saturday night. A special investigation team headed by the SSP Islamabad has been formed to probe the incident. The forensic experts from Lahore reached Islamabad to collect clues and conduct chemical analysis after bomb explosion at 'Luna Capresse', an Italian restaurant in sector F-6 in the federal capital. A Turk national nurse working at the US embassy in Islamabad was killed in the restaurant blast on Saturday, while 10 others including the nationals of America, Japan, Britain, Canada and China were wounded in the incident. Five Americans with minor injuries have been shifted to the diplomatic enclave, while other foreign nationals have been transferred to private hospitals from the government hospitals in the capital. An investigation team headed by SSP Islamabad Kaleem Imam with members from the special branch of police and CID, has been formed to probe into the bombing incident. The investigation team has decided to include the restaurant staff in the investigation.
