Prolonged power outages continue in Karachi
Karachi: The 6 to 8 hours-long power failures have been causing immense problems for citizens, businessmen, and traders of the city. A source at the KESC said that over the last 24 hours, the power utility faced around 431 MWs shortage of electricity when the power supply demand for the city hovers around 1900 MWs. He said the KESC had no option but to carry out several spells of power load-shedding of prolonged duration in various parts of the city on a rotational basis.
