Regional Coordination System introduced in FATA

PESHAWER: Government has introduced Regional Coordination System (RCS) in FATA to improve law and order situation and strengthen coordination between Tribal agencies and NWFP government. Northern Regional coordination officer Arbab Shah Rukh told Geo news that RCS has been introduced after NWFP government’s contact with the President, which aims at improving stability and establish contact between Tribal agencies and the provincial government. He said DCOs will be given more powers and RCS will strengthen linkages among Police, Tribal agencies, Local government, Federal and Provincial governments.
