PML-N vetoes Amin Fahim
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday rejected the name of Makhdoom Amin Fahim as the PPP’s nominee for premiership. Senior PML-N leader Khwaja Asif told Daily Times that Amin Fahim was not acceptable to his party as prime minister. “He has been meeting the people in establishment, so he cannot be trusted as a nominee of the coalition,” he said. Asif said Nawaz Sharif had categorically said that the prime minister should not be a “wired person with his antenna opening up in non-political quarters”. Makhdoom Amin Fahim would not be acceptable to his party, he said. staff report
