Aitzaz lauds Nawaz-Zardari agreement
LAHORE: Supreme Court Bar Association President Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan on Sunday hailed the declaration signed by the Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz that says the judges sacked on November 3 would be restored through a parliamentary resolution within 30 days of the formation of the new government. Talking to reporters outside sacked judge Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday’s house, he said he believed Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari would honour their words. He said a lawyers’ rally today (Monday) would hail the two parties for making the decision. staff report
