Demo in London after one year judges dismissal
LONDON: A demonstration on the completion of one whole year after the dismissal of the deposed judges of the apex court was organized outside the Pakistan High Commission in London. The demonstration was heavily attended by the members of lawyer organizations, the Pakistani students residing here and workers of various political parties. They were carrying placards with slogans written on them for the freedom of judiciary. The participants raised slogans for the restoration of the deposed judges. Addressing the demonstrators, Chairman of Lawyers committee for Human Rights and Justice in Pakistan Sibghatullah Qadri said the agreement between Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) is vital the restoration of the judiciary in Pakistan.
