PM forwards summary to the president to convene NA session
ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro on Monday sent a summary for convening the National Assembly session to the president. Now the president can convene the National Assembly any time as according to the Article 48 of the Constitution the president has to convene the National Assembly session on the advice of the Prime Minister. Earlier, the Caretaker minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Syed Afzal Haider had sent the same summary to the Prime Minister.
