NA session to be called without delay: Spokesman

ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of President Pervez Musharraf, Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Arshad Qureshi Saturday said no delay on part of the president will be made after receiving an advice from Prime Minister’s Secretariat for convening National Assembly session. “I have never said that Presiden Pervez Musharraf is not presently considering to summon NA session,” he clarified in a statement issued here from Aiwan-e-Saddar. He said the role of Aiwan-e-Saddar will come into play after receiving a summary from Prime Minister’s secretariat in connection with convening NA session. “The President will summon the NA session immediately after receiving the summary,” the spokesman said.
