Mingora suicide attack victims buried

MINGORA: Funeral prayers of eight dead persons who were killed in suicide attack in Swat’s Mingora area were offered here on Saturday. The funeral prayers of Naib Nazim union council Malookabad, Habibullah, Iqbal, Ghulam Hussain and others were offered here. They were killed in a suicide attack during funeral prayers of DSP Javed Iqbal in Govt. Higher Secondary School in Mingora. Large number of local population attended the funeral. The deceased were later laid to rest in local cemetery. SHO Mingora Habib Zaman Khan, Inspector Muhammad Rahman, DSP Javed Iqbal’s son Ghazan Khan, Naib Nazim union council Malookabad, Habibullah, local journalist Sirajuddin were among 40 persons died in the suicide attack, while 81 persons were wounded including nine policemen.
