Hearing
of CJP constitutional petition adjourned
ISLAMABAD:
Supreme Court Wednesday adjourned hearing of the constitutional petition
of the Chief Justice of Pakistan against the presidential reference.
Aitzaz Ahsan, lead counsel of the chief
justice, continued his arguments on constitutional petition of the CJP
against the presidential reference.
Aitzaz in his arguments said that the
president have no powers except that entrusted to the office under the
constitution.
The 13-member full court headed
by Justice Khalilur Rahman Ramday, comprising of Justice Muhammad Nawaz
Abbasi, Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan,
Justice M Javed Buttar, Justice Tassadduq Hussain Jillani, Justice Saiyed
Saeed Ashhad, Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice
Ch Ijaz Ahmed, Justice Syed Jamshed Ali, Justice Hamid Ali Mirza and
Justice Ghulam Rabbani.
