Durrani rules out any govt functionary's resignation over CJP's reinstatement
ISLAMABAD: Federal minister for Information and Broadcasting minister Muhammad Ali Durrani has ruled out resignation of any government functionary including high official or federal minister over reinstatement of CJP Chaudhry Muhammad Iftikhar by the full court of the Supreme Court.
The court decision whether against or in favour of government are routine matter and no question of resignation by any government functionary arises as result of the Supreme Court decision regarding reinstatement of the CJP, he said addressing a press conference here on Wednesday.
The Supreme Court decision of reinstatement of the CJP is not the matter of defeat or victory, he remarked.
