Foreign hand is not unlikely in suicide attacks:

SADIQABAD:
Minister of state for interior affairs Zafar Iqbal Waraich has said
that the foreign hand cannot be declared unlikely in suicide attacks
in various areas and no plan of postponing the elections is being
discussed despite the present situation.
Talking with Geo News in Sadiqabad, the minister of
state Zafar Iqbal Waraich said that the government has taken stern
actions for the security of the people’s life and property.
He said that there are threats of suicide attacks in
Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan but the government is making efforts
to eliminate the terror-spreading elements.
Zafr Iqbal Waraich said that the presidential election
is expected to be held during September 15-October 15 whereas the
process of the general elections will begin after October15 and they
will likely to be held in January 2008.
He said that under the present situation of the country
there is no plan of postponing the elections is under-consideration.
In reply to a question, Zafar Iqbal Waraich said
that the dialogue is being held with the People’s Party but
Benazir Bhutto is changing her statements daily.
