N. Waziristan grand jirga submits report to Political Agent
PARACHANAR: A report on the deliberations held here between the local Taliban and the Usmanzai tribesmen relating to the grand jirga has been submitted to the local political officials.
According to the details, jirga sources said that the report for grand jirga has been submitted to the political officials and the government’s reply was awaited now for the finalization of a modus operandi of proceeding further in this regard.
The jirga brokering peace deal between the local Taliban and the Political officials in its report said that one of the preconditions put forth in the talks held between the local Taliban and Usmanzai tribesmen was to abolish the security forces check posts. The political officials on being briefed about this string attached to further headway told that the jirga would be informed of the government response soon.
