NewsQazi calls nation to get ready for a new movement
NAUSEHRA: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) central leader, Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that the nation should now get ready for launching a new movement for the supremacy of law and the constitution.
Addressing an ulema convention here, Qazi declared the Supreme Court’s verdict in favour of the Chief Justice was a victory of the freedom of judiciary. He said that the time was now ripe for launching a struggle for the restoration of democracy. He alleged that the Lal Masjid operation was carried out at the behest of the USA.
Qazi said that the APC joint action committee meeting has been called on July 23, where a strategy would be evolved on the issues of the president keeping both the posts, Lal Masjid operation and the forthcoming elections.
