News7 killed in security forces retaliatory actions in N. Waziristan
MIRANSHAH: At least 7 miscreants were killed in fierce encounter involving bomb attack and gun firing, while 8 security men were wounded near here in North Waziristan.
Sources told that some unknown persons had targeted security forces vehicle with the remote control bomb and resorted to firing by automatic weapons, wounding 8 security men at Qatoobkhel area near here, while the three choppers of the security forces tracking down the assailants’ hideouts at Qatoobkhel, Essa, Chashma Pal and adjoining areas opened volley of fires.
DG ISPR, Waheed Arshad confirming injuries to the 6 security men said that the 7 assailants were also killed in retaliatory actions by the security forces. Major General Waheed Arshad told that last night also 13 attackers were killed at two different locations, while 7 of them were arrested and being grilled.
