Test of judiciary has begun with CJ’s restoration: Qazi Hussain
KARACHI: Amir Jamaat Islami and president Muttehadda Majlis-e-Amal Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said that the reinstatement of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is the first step towards the restoration of the constitution and the law.
In a statement issued from Karachi, Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that the test of the judiciary has begun with the reinstatement of the chief justice.
He said that the whole country is presently passing through a severe crisis. Many cases in the courts of the country are waiting for decision and the people want justifiable decisions in these cases, also.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed urged the chief justice to play a historic role to save the country from civil war and remove the widening gap between the army and the people.
