NewsHub blast dead policemen’s mass funeral prayer offered
HUB: The coffins of the seven policemen, who had died at the Balochistan’s industrial town here in a bomb blast, were sent to their ancestral areas, following a mass funeral offered here.
The mass funeral prayer of the policemen were offered at Lida rest house, Hub, which was attended by IG Balochistan, Tariq Masood Khosa, DIG Special and Crime Branch, Ahmad Raza, SP Investigation, Qamruz Zaman and other high police officials including a large number of the citizens here. A contingent of smart policemen marched past and saluted the dead colleagues and, thereafter, the coffins were sent to their ancestral areas.
Balochistan IG, Tariq Masood Khosa on this occasion told that the accused involved in the bomb blast would soon be hunted down. The IG on behalf of the chief minister announced financial assistance of Rs500000 each for the heirs of the dead policemen. IG accompanied by other high police officials also inspected the site of the blast incident.
