The President said that he cannot fight alone the extremists without the help of the people and even the army or police cannot do this.

President Musharraf said that only a few elements are murdering their own people through suicide attacks and terrorism with the vehicles full of explosives.

He questioned that this is what kind of Islam. Who says that the objective of Islam is to kill the Muslims and whether these elements are serving Islam.

President Musharraf expressed his determination to fight the challenge of militants and defeat the extremists and said that Allah would help him because the Muslims of the subcontinent had established this country only with the help of Allah.

President Musharraf said that the activities of the extremists will affect the economy of the country.

On this occasion, he gave away Rs.20,000 to each of the three thousand students, who have completed training under the Vocational Training Institute of Punjab, so that they can start their business under the rehabilitation scheme of the Bait-ul-Mal.
