Ill Campbell admitted to hospital
Darren Campbell has been taken to hospital with a severe viral infection.
The Olympic 4x100m gold medallist is being treated with antibiotics and will be monitored in hospital for the next few days.The 31-year-old has not felt well since the AAA Championships last weekend and now looks certain to miss out on a place in Team GB squad for the Worlds.
Campbell did not qualify for the 100m final on Saturday and then decided to pull out of the 200m on Sunday.
