Bidding date for PSO privatization to be announced in August: Iqbal
ISLAMABAD: Secretary privatization commission Tehseen Khan Iqbal has said that the date for the privatization of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) would be announced in the first week of August.
While talking to Geo he said that 13 parties have submitted the applications for expression of interest to buy the 52 percent shares of PSO and the decision about the eligibility would be taken in a meeting of the privatization board.
This meeting was held in the first week of August after which the dates for access to data rooms of the legible parties would be finalized. Tehseen Khan Iqbal have further said that the date for the bidding of Mustahkam cement would be announced next week.
